Join your neighbors for the Eastcore Spring Cleanup on Saturday, April 25, 2026. This is a great opportunity to tidy up your home, yard, and block while connecting with others in the neighborhood.
A free dumpster will be available for Eastcore residents to dispose of unwanted items. Eastcore will also host a swap table, where neighbors can bring usable items they no longer need and take something new-to-them home.
Location: 14th Street Church Parking Lot (14 W 14th St)
Time: 9:00am–12:00pm
Coffee, donuts, and water will be available while supplies last!
Items NOT accepted for dumping:
TVs or electronics
Paint, stain, or paint thinners
Hazardous waste materials (chemicals, fertilizers, etc.)
Gasoline containers (with or without gas inside)
Eastcore Volunteers Needed!
We are also looking for about 9 volunteers to help make the Eastcore Spring Cleanup run smoothly. Volunteers will help greet neighbors, check in and verify Eastcore residency, sort items at the dumpster, and set aside metal, tires, and usable items for the swap table. We are also especially looking for a few neighbors with trucks or trailers who can help haul metal to Black River Recycling and tires to OK Tire. Volunteers should bring work gloves and wear clothing that can get dirty, and help keep the 14th Street Church parking lot clean throughout the event. Sign up to volunteer here.
